I don’t think I’ll be making it, but if you live anywhere near Chicago and you’re a woman wanting to start a business of any kind, you should totally check this out!  Here is some lovely information from their Press Office.

Naperville, IllinoisThe National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is proud to announce that they are hosting their first annual regional conference the Hotel Arista at City Gate on Friday, November 18th.

The NAPW Midwest Conference will teach professional women how to re-brand, refresh and reconnect with other women to promote professional development and growth. It’s time for women to start thinking of themselves as their own best asset in their day-to-day business transactions, it’s the sum of each woman’s expertise, experience and achievements which drive others to do business with them, regardless of the company or product they represent.

This innovative one day conference will empower attendees to take control of their business relationships, refocus and leverage their expertise to maximize impact on potential clients and partners. Speakers Sima Dahl from Parlay Communications, Gail Sussman Miller from Inspired Choice,  Leslee Serdar – “The Cold Calling Diva,” and Mary Erlain and Alexandra Glumac from LMI Riverside will offer their expertise on topics such as social networking, creating lasting business relationships, women in leadership roles and improving business communication.
