Hi, I’m girlhack (Meg)!
I started this website back in 2007 after a fateful trip to Target when I didn’t have enough money to buy both the video game and the skirt I wanted. I decided there had to be more women out there who had similar dilemmas. It was a fantastic experience for so many reasons and I took many of those lessons straight into my career since 2012.
After about a 14 year break, which mostly devolved into me just posting on Twitter until it became X, I am back to build my little corner of the internet again. This time, it’s just about letting my brain do what it likes best: learning, creating, and sharing. No feeds. No trying to spin this into a full time business. Just giving space for myself to have this outlet.
